Youth Have A Say Against Terrorism by using ICT and Project Based Learning

Overall objective:

• Youth from Albania, Kosovo and Macedonia is rising their voice against terrorism in the region by outreaching excluded and marginalized groups, aiming to foster dialogue and deliver message for peace and tolerance.

Specific objectives:

• To rise awareness about problems terrorism can create by using ICT;
• To outreach groups that were/are under pressure in the post-conflict regions using information structures;
• To involve displaced young people from wider regions in order to hear their voice;
• To foster inter-ethnical dialogue in the region;
• To contribute in reduction of inter-ethnical tension in the region by organizing conflict resolution workshops/gatherings involving youth from Albania, Kosovo and Macedonia;
• To organize exchange of ideas, materials, content, youth and staff;
• To establish network of youth and adults from Albania, Kosovo and Macedonia that are cherishing values gained in this project and disseminate them to broader community;
• To develop ICT and media based content (CD, web site, video tape) in order to share results of dialogue events;
• To contribute to the ability of young people to engage in collaboratively and encourage social exclusion, multi-cultural awareness and inter-ethnical toleration;
• To collect and publish on Internet events, activities and different agendas undergoing in the region that are in relation to fight against terrorism;

Target groups:

• Youth on age 13-20 from Albania, Kosovo and Macedonia
• Educators from Albania, Kosovo and Macedonia
