Activities

-  Establishing a project team consisting of members from Kosovo , Macedonia and Serbia and Montenegro ;

-  To develop a joint action plan;

-  To train young people and educators (training of trainers) how to acquire information, verify sources, consult different sources of information and disseminate it in a transparent manner; net ethics, how to facilitate and moderate discussion on on-line forums, how to develop, present and manage information.

-  To train young people and educators (training of trainers) in outreaching communities with no access to information, or with limited access to information; and use of information for conflict resolution (breaking stereotypes, coping with prejudice, rights and obligations, peaceful negotiations, inter-ethnical dialogue, communication skills, tolerance skills, making compromises);

-  To locally disseminate gained knowledge, skills and attitudes in respective institutions and their environments on building local/national information management capacities;

-  Inclusion of youth living in post-conflict areas into the process of acquisition and local dissemination of information;

-  To jointly identify topics focusing on acquisition and dissemination of information and existing practices in information management for Internet conference (and forum discussions) and structure of the conference site;

-  To organize Internet conference on information management including international community;

-  To encourage young people to create, contribute, and exchange practices in interactions with their peers on access to information and information flow;

-  To engage youth and educators in forum discussions on topics covering information management, to compare and debate about existing practices and discuss how this processes can be improved;

-  To jointly collect and publish information management best practices in problem areas in the participating countries/provinces;

-  To organize “face to face” events for youth to learn, share, discuss, compare, jointly conclude and develop documents containing their suggestions and perspectives for improving existing practices of information management;

-  To collect, systemize and publish on Internet activities and different agendas that are in relation to information management;

-  To develop a web site with the content of the project, contributions and creations from youth, results, recommendations, Internet conference section, conclusions – building of information management capacities and culture among young people.
