Assessment and Impact of the Project

Project crucial objective that have been identified is to contribute in opening-up opportunities for disadvantaged youth in the process of empowering youth and facilitate cooperation by using ICTs. As a most convenient and cost-effective tool ICT is used.

Now they know how to use ICTs, know to write CV, motivation letter, prepare and act on interviews, explore employers, or simply said - work on their self-improvement.

Synergy that is already created among them at this point speaks very much in favour of the justification of the correctness of the approach. Especially in a case of young trainers, young people that are energized in the frame of this project are fully capable of transmitting knowledge, skills, and attitudes to other young people facing similar problems.

Also, wide range of learning activities for these young people, fitting their urgent needs, is assisting them to be better integrated into their communities and societies.

Number of directly targeted disadvantaged youth is around 470 in the moment when this report is prepared. This number is exceeded expected and foreseen number of trained young people for this phase of the project.

Collaboration and cooperation with municipalities, NGO community, employment agencies and centers, ministries, other social welfare institutions confirmed the fact that this project has serious approach in dealing with these young people at risk, and at the same time contributed in mobilizing forces and helping young people in tracing their paths and future.

Several employments from this pool of young people are encountered. This is more than a proof about the impact this project is making on the socially excluded and disadvantaged youth is significant.
